Joes gonna kill you!

Posted by twobs on April 20th, 2006

Last week’s impact was ace! Its not often that I would consider a match from a weekly show as one of the best I’ve seen, but I really would class the Samoa Joe Vs Christopher Daniels X Division Championship match from the beginning of last week’s impact.

Daniels doesn’t get much offence in, but you get [...]

mental ball thing

This is one of the best online videos i’ve ever seen! Its 12 minutes, but its worth every minute. I used to make ‘heath robinson’ style things with lego and marbles and brio etc. when I was a child. None were ever as good as any of these though.

Shame about the annoying jingle.

David “my other car’s a bike” Cameron is trying to save the earth by flying more.

I don’t think anything more needs to be said.

Britain’s No. 1 Spunger

Posted by twobs on April 20th, 2006

The Sun and The Daily Mail regularly have stories about spunging families who live entirely off state benfit and have no plan of ever working. Often they lie about what they do in order to continue living off benefit. I have not yet seen a piece about a familly I know of who spunge more [...]

Dave the Chameleon

Labour are going all out with their Party Political Broadcasts. I think they are using all 3 of their yearly quota in 3 weeks. And its quite funny too. Dave the chameleon he is called.
I’m not sure if Labour have really achived what they wanted here. What impact is this actually going to have on [...]

Brit pop watch

I just heard The Kooks. Not the most exciting band. They sound just like any other white, British, long haired ‘indie’ band in the last 20 years.

The Brit pop sound is obviously alive and well, the style may have changed, but the attitude has compleetely gone leaving us with nothing but a bland homogonised version [...]

F. U. Cena

Posted by twobs on April 6th, 2006

Wrestlemania was last Sunday (expect a review soon, if you haven’t yet seen it there will be spoilers in this post) and one of the most noteable points about the PPV was the audience reaction. The most noteable being Mickey James Vs Trish Stratus and Triple H Vs John Cena (and the playboy pillow fight).

The [...]

Westminster sports day

As Ming campbell has been voted the new leader of the Lib Dems I would like to propose a fun new initiative that can liven up Westminster before the summer break…

Westminster Sports day

Teams of MPs, Lords, civil servants and journalists, infact anyone in the ‘Westminster Village’ can take part, and we can discover which out [...]

one-pee-dub! one-pee-dub!

There is a new upstart promotion in Britain. 1PW stages its fights in Doncaster and at last someone is regurlally promoting some good fights in England. Fighters from ROH and TNA.
I was hoping for a mix of British and American/Canadian wrestlers, and the whole thing given a British edge. However its just the same as [...]
