Posted by twobs on June 29th, 2007

All the CDs I have left from the list below are gradually being listed on Ebay along with loads of books, DVDs and games that I didn’t put on that list. As I continue with my clearout there will probably be loads more things joining them, like clothes, electronics, instruments, etc. So please check back.

Thanks!

Simalar to the satire i posted before on the ‘no ifs, no buts’ campaign, Here is another I found on Flickr. This time a real poster that has been adbusted in Bristol.

The Rise of Poitical Lying, Peter Oborne

Posted by twobs on January 30th, 2007

This is a review of a book I wrote on Amazon. I Don’t know if they will post it seeing as it implies Oborne wanks over Thatcher (Edit: They did post it, Amazon aren’t afraid of a bit of wanking.), so I posted it here too. I’ve never written a review on Amazon before, but [...]

war criminal

Posted by twobs on January 11th, 2007

Via Jyoti
This poster was done by Keyvan, a friend of Jyoti’s I met years ago on an anti war march, he’s an exceptional photogropher so check them out.
Its a brilliant satire on the rather tasteless and wasteful ‘no ifs no buts’ adverts that annoy me so.

Back in March Anita Rodick sold her controling share in the Bodyshop to L’Oreal. L’Oreal are 50% owned by the company topping the World Helth Organisation’s list of the wolds most unethical companies, Nestle.

How to get your point across to an Iraqi

Posted by twobs on December 13th, 2006

Ever find, when you’re partolling the streets in Iraq, that the Iraqis are just too ignorant to speak your language? I can imagine it happens a lot, I mean, its kinda rude not to learn the language of your illegal occupiers.
These GIs found the perfect way of making their point.

I’m impressed they managed to last [...]

Prepare to Believe!

Posted by twobs on November 23rd, 2006

Creationism is a really strange topic. I really don’t understand why there are so many people who claim to believe such rubish. But weirdly there are enough stupid people in the world to fund a £13 million museum on the subject.
The Creation Museum – motto: “Prepare to Believe!” – will be the first institution in [...]

UK Passport RFID Chips Cracked

Posted by twobs on November 18th, 2006

I’ve spent most of the day trying to collect my thoughts about this bit of news, but there’s no point in being clever, Jyoti has said all that needs to be said really. Some experts have managed to crack UK Passport RFID Chips.
I thought the government was trying to prevent identity fraud, not make it [...]

Who’s paying for this party?

Posted by twobs on November 15th, 2006

I wish I had a few million to spare, then I could buy myself a peerage. I wouldn’t have to bother with university, i wouldn’t have to find a propper job. I’d just get paid to do politics. The best thing about being a Lord over an MP is that you don’t even have pesky [...]

class food

Posted by twobs on October 12th, 2006

Food has become really cool at the moment. Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Rick Stein. They have all championed good food. Lovely.
Many chefs and TV cookery programmes have championed good healthy food before them, but there is something I have against these perticular chefs, Oliver specifically.
Good food is seen as something for the middle classes, there [...]
